About Me

I am retired Techie that had to learn how to setup and build computers with little training, I started when I was working in a drawing office of a engineering company then became interested how to setup our CAD system, using Compaq 286 computer with 19" CRT monitors. I have been lucky enough to be at the right place at the right to learn how to setup servers and network from the ground up, using OS/2 1.3 LAN manager and X25 network on IBM Bridge server, from there it was more a cause learn, break and put it back together. As once you know how application or hardware breaks then you have a better understand how to support the system.
